Thought it would be interesting to compare attendance figures. Things that are interesting: Mercer is packing them in, averaging 10,175 per game. But attendnance is starting to decline -- it was only 9,327 this week in a game played in the rain ::) . Two marquee match-ups that I would have thought would have gotten better turnouts, USD-Harvard and BU-Dartmouth, didn't draw like I expected. And Morehead, despite being winless, had over 8,000 at their game. Jacksonville, a PFL power, only got 2207 to their home game -- makes the 1600 at Valpo last week not so embarrassing. Can you imagine JU attendance if they were 2-34.
I was surprised by the attendance of the Valpo v. Bye tilt. I thought that the Bye faithful traveled better.
There were less than 700 media credentials issued for the Bye game this past week. We were hoping to pass the A&M - Bama game in that stat... oh well, maybe for the Camels this weekend. Is anyone else glad we're not playing them on Wednesday?
Hopefully we'll get over the hump.
Speaking of camels and hump day.

Was it even a true home game? After all, Lake County always had a great deal of affinity for Bayh.
