Title: Milwaukee's exhibition win
Post by: wh on November 01, 2013, 08:39:13 AM
Milwaukee beat Marian last night 80-52.  I know it's meaningless in the grand scheme of things, but it's still good to see that they blew out an inferior opponent and could have won by a much bigger margin.  They have a lot of new faces.   Hopefully, this is the beginning of a turnaround season.  A strong Milwaukee is important to the Horizon League for a lot of reasons.

Watched parts of last night's game on the HLN. I honestly don't know if they're gonna be any better. They beat a team that never played a D1 team till last night. In the first half they shot 40% and shot even worse in the second half at 35% and Jordan Aaron didn't look good at all.

I think it's gonna be another long season for Milwaukee. I think last night was more of a case of playing an inferior team in size, strength, and talent.

Nobody on their team really wowed me and looked like a star or somebody able to get it done in crunch time. Milwaukee will once again be dwelling in the cellar of the HL.
