Post by: VU75 on November 08, 2017, 06:31:18 PM
Just noticed an hour long MVC preview show on NBC sports net tonight at 7:00.

Does anyone have an internet link to catch that show?

What the heck is going on at Missouri State and UNI?  Picked to win and finish second, they are near the bottom.  Jacobson is safe but can Paul Lusk survive?

The UNI dive started early.  Not sure why.

But the Mo. State drop was like a rock after a strong start. I think they were 6-2 at one point and dominant at times.  Strange indeed.  Lusk probably gone.

No surprise.  He had the most talent and a NBA player and didn't get it done.  There are some very good coaches in the Valley.

Does Moser get stolen away from Loyola?

Regardless, congratulations Loyola!

This is a great conference. Glad we are a part of it. Now, we bave to pull our weight.

I don't see Porter Moser getting anything higher profile. He seems more about building character with kids that aren't high profile recruits, and getting the most out of them, based on what he can teach them about being men, instead of pawns for higher paying coaching jobs.

Well, If I'm Porter Moser's agent, I'm sitting tight until the fallout from the FBI/Stuff settles out...there may be several P5 opportunities coming open where that mantra of "nice" is what the institution needs...

Penn State officials covered up child rape and they were back in the big 10 tile game a few years later. Louisville was caught buying prostitutes for recruits and they'll still be in the NCAA tournament, getting bids and higher seeds over teams that didn't buy prostitutes for recruits.  If the past has taught us anything, it's that these programs go virtually unpunished by the NCAA.
