Saw this on the MVC website ... love the national exposure the university will get from ESPN broadcasts!

Men's games on ESPN broadcast channels
Definite
-First game of Charleston Tournament
Maybe (depending on whether Valpo wins earlier games in tournament)
-Second game of Charleston Tournament
-Third game of Charleston Tournament
More maybes
-February 10th against Loyola (choice versus another MVC game)
-March 2nd against Evansville (choice versus other MVC games)
I would guess that the MVC tournament games are on another network and that the West Virginia and Texas A&M games (and maybe George Washington) might be on another network (CBSSN, SEC, FS1). But overall, I would not consider this to approach the national exposure that I would like to see for Valparaiso. While ESPN3 and ESPN+ are convenient and valued by devoted fans, they do not create exposure for the university. Of course, winning (a lot) changes everything - especially exposure.
Still better than what we had in the HL when you factor in the regional exposure we should get from being on NBC Sports Chicago a few times. We got spoiled last year because (I believe ) we got to take all of Wichita State's TV dates. If we want more, we need to win. It's as simple as that.
