Valpo just re-upped Mike Avery and Tracy Woodson. Glad to see both rewarded for building their programs to the point where VU won HL titles. Also great to see that there will be consistent leadership over the next couple of years in both MSO and MBB.

i am sure bbtds will join me in saying that's avery good deal for all involved, as those programs are finally out of the woodson which they wandered for too long.

And Valpo "Drew" up a nice contract for their MBB coach and the mens' soccer coach deserved the "kick" he got in his contract years which was a nice deal for Valpo too. Maybe it's time to get behind the Mike.
Now we're behind Carin and Jordan

Signing both the Averys, Tracy Woodson, and Jordan Stevens now is absolutely fantastic. Great way to reward some great coaching. Now let's see if Carin can finally get a Horizon League title under her belt like Mike, Tracy, and Jordan did last school year.
I've said before that's avery good idea. Now v-ball and softball are even-stevens with the rest of the high achievers!
Hopefully this actually keeps them all at VU another few years. I am sure any of the 4 could easily be offered other HC jobs elsewhere after the season, as they probably often are
