Quarterfinals for Hoops in the Heartland tonight at 5pm! Get another shot at Drake. You know what they say about beating a team 3 times in one season...

It would break my heart if Connor or Sheldon (or JO) leave. Especially for the two guys who took a prep year, after not being not recruited too hard, Valpo took a chance on all three of these men. To me, our entire success as a program is built on these "diamond in the rough" type players and stories. To leave after having a season with some individual success would feel like a slap to the face.

A win is a win, but I don't think our current offensive scheme will get us far in MVC play. Seems every other possession the ball is passed along the perimeter until a bad shot is chucked up as the shot clock goes off. Even Ickow noted how, when we draw up an actual play during a timeout, it is usually rewarded with an easy basket. I don't know why Lottich continues to want to stick with the motion offense.

Finally Sheldon shows his driving ability. That should be his first look, he has got enough 3 point shooting tools around him while Connor and Jacob are on the court.

One good thing about knowing Valpo will always choke in the last 8 minutes against P5 teams, picking Purdue -1.5 at the half :)

Oh man, either VU changed its name or maybe this recruit isn't too interested in our program...

Either way, Keyondre looks like a player with very high potential, probably will be getting some high major interest soon.

Small ball is the way of the future! After watching Trey's highlights, I was really impressed by his ability to get down and physical in the paint. Can't teach that.

Cameron and Cade Meyer (another one of our class of 2021 offers) are AAU teammates. I hope they choose to stick together in college...I think they would be a very exciting guard/forward duo.

Fazekas is a phenomenal shooter. Are there any NCAA loopholes we can exploit to get him for another year? ;)

On the topic of hot shooting, what did we think of Mileek's 3-pointer early in the shot clock when the game was pretty much out of reach? I am all for feeding the hot hand but...

Krikke needs to slam it down like that every time! A thing of beauty!

ESPN Gamecast gave ISUr a 95.3% chance of winning at halftime...glad the team now knows what it feels like to finish the huge comeback. I hope for less need to pull off these dramatic finishes in the future though...

Jacob recently had the "#1 most insane dunk" via MaxPreps Wisconsin for last week.

First post for me ever by the way, been lurking for a couple years now...so I can't link video. But just type in MaxPreps Sheboygan Area Lutheran and click on the tab "Videos"
