Just a quick note to say good luck to Valpo in the Dance.  Its great you're playing the Palace and I hope many of you plan to attend.
I, for one, am rooting for you against MSU.  Horizon League pride.  I feel many of the UDM fans will be rooting for you also.
Play well and play your game, down back down and beat Sparty.

Good Luck To The Crusaders!!!

Congratulations to the Crusaders on winning both titles this season.  Your team played well all year and will hopefully continue to do so in the NCAA tourney.  Of course I wanted my team to be in the final against you but we didn't do what was necessary to get there so that's that.

Though there seems to be bad feelings, not on my part, I wish you all great success in the Dance and make the HL proud by sending a team or two home.

Though I cheer for and support Detroit, I also support the league and I always want our league teams to do well.  With that said, Go Valpo! Represent the Horizon League well.

Congrats on the win.  Your team never quit and mine fell apart.  I have great respect for your team and school.  I am not a kid but an older alum of Detroit who has always traveled to the ARC and seen almost every game between our schools since you joined the HL.

I'm not one for excuses. We folded and you came on and yes it was painful but its only a game. I spoke to Coach Drew after the game and offered my congratulations.  I look forward to coming to VU next month for the next chapter.

I know there's been some crap between our younger fans and all but I think I'm a classy person and though disappointed, I say again, your team played hard and congrats on the win.

I also hope Coach Homer and his wife are doing well.  Always enjoyed speaking with him on my visits to Valpo.

See you next month.

Coach Drew, thanks for the memories and also for your kindness.  Thanks for the way you show sportsmanship and class by the way you handle yourself and the way your teams always play hard and represent VU in the best way.
I will miss you and all you have done to make the Horizon League better.  I will also miss speaking with you after games both win or lose.  I have attended every VU/Detroit basketball game since the Crusaders joined the league and I have always enjoyed my visits to the ARC but more importantly my visits with you.  Have a great time in retirement and I, along with the Detroit Titan family wish you and your family all the best.  You will be missed, even by the opposition.
