I don't understand, the alumni who attended there for years and supported the football program wants to still watch the game even if we live in another state. I will even pay for the game but allow me a option. Same old Valpo, not thinking outside the box.. New coach, new track, new facilities, new dorms, etc.. and same mindset about football.. So sad.

Will this game be streamed on Saturday and if so what the link.. This should be a great game for us to win..

Do anyone know if the game will be steam and if so please provide a link..

I so am glad to see that Valpo is investing in there football program and is the point that I had brought up in another posting. Things like this along with new uniforms, helmets, shoes etc.. Is what recruits are looking for.. I hope this is the start of something new with the coach and staff..

Will there be any type of coverage for tomorrow recruit signing? Lots of colleges turn this into a big day for their new players..

Dude, Please stop comparing baseball to football and the recruiting that goes into the sports, they are totally different..

Football programs are normally thought of as the heart of a college sport program (along with basketball).. I will not comment on the baseball program in college.. It's a area I don't want to cover so I will move on.. Some of the reasons we are not winning at football has to do with a few issues that I believed I listed in another posting here.. along with poor coaching.. As I said before, I will wait to see what happens with the new coach..

PS please don't try and get in a football player face with your tone and the nonsense you are saying, it may get ugly..

If you don't think a better looking lockers room, uniforms, weight room, equipments, colors, stadium, campus etc...do not have a mental affect on players (recruiting) and students then I believe Valpo will always have a problem with building a winning tradition in football.. I have seen others posters on this Valpo board question/comments about the lack of administration support for the football team and I didn't want to believe it but I guess I was very wrong.. It's not a big deal, because now I know what's happening..

Old equiipments are just that, old and not as safe as the new ones... The newest technology is very much better.. Old mean anything over 2-3 years old.. Also it's sad that kid use to buy their own cleats ... How cheap!!!!!$! or Valpo can't do the safe equipments for the players then drop football al together.. Don't send a kid out the with one hand tied behind his back..

I know we had posted that we were looking for another game to replace the Mercer spot.. Did we land another team yet?

I am hearing that this is suppose to be a huge recruiting weekend for us.. I hope we hand some good recruits.. Look out for them over the weekend and give them some encouragement words to help them see Valpo as the place to come for education and football..

Is there any chance that the team will get new uniforms and equipment (pads, mouth guard, helmets etc? I heard from a few parents that their kids were using old and outdated equipments.. If this is the case, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen..

Will Valpo be getting a new scoreboard? What about improvements in the weight room and the locker room? This is how you can tell if the administration is serious about the football program or just providing lip services to the students..

I would think this would be something that any new HC would come in requesting because these things are important to kids and make them feel good about the program..

I think it would be nice if we can play 12 games each year and not just 11 games.. It would also be nice to have a 6 away game and 6 home games.. I am really looking forward to this season now that Carlson is gone...

I am hearing rumors that Valpo is looking/interested in leaving the HL for the MVC. Has others been hearing this and is for only MBB or for all sports?

If its for all sports wouldn't that mean we would start offering scholarships for all the major sports?

This is rumor running across the school like crazy.. If we don't join the MVC league, does this mean we are looking to leave (all sports) for something better and why?

If we do leave, who wants our FB team?

Why is it a problem if Valpo decides to move to offering scholarships? It would show they want to have a FB that compete every year.. How can you ask a kid to come to Valpo and be serious about the FB program and take a chance of getting hurt and not offer them something in return unless I am missing something..

I would rather us cancel the FB program if they don't want to win..

You are probably 1000% correct but the school still have a responibilies to always improve on what we currently have. Be it coaches, field, facilities, weight room etc..

If you want better then you must have something better to offer that others may not have.. How a out new uniforms, shoes, workout gear, new field and scoreboard, that is what bring in the recruits..

Sorry I am texting while in class.. Yes if the football program was better we could get invited to a bigger and better conference.  This could also mean more money and more TV appearances.. More enrollment into the school. Better donation from alumi etc.. College sports is a business and Valpo needs to approach it as one..

If we had better weight room and better training area then the players can become faster and stronger and better prepared for when we compete against other.. we want to be physically ready when the season starts..

I could see us joining MVC, northeast conference, Big South conference,  Patriot league, Ohio Valley conference .
