 Yep  Kye  is dying to get out there he also told me Dulton Stokes hurt his shoulder on the one play he was in last week so he may be doubtful for this weeks game sure looking like  it's going to be Seewald which is OK with me   Also defense is going to need to keep their assignments this week Trinity runs and option style offense could be problems  if defense doesn't stick to their assignments  they have some Jco transfers  that look pretty athletic so it won't be a walk in the park  they are definitely beatable   but we need to start getting better each week or it's going to be a long season

 My source was Kye hall he  said has been on the scout team while on suspension now he's back with the ones so looks like he's starting and Seewald looked really good last week  but I think they're gonna try to get Dalton Stokes some reps  this week if he could ever get healthy he is definitely a play maker but hopefully they name one of the two as starter for next week   we  can't have turnovers like we had last year and expect to win

 Well we are definitely starting the season shorthanded  receiver Frank catrine  Is out with a knee injury and two starting linebackers are suspended one maybe for multiple games so hopefully  some younger guys can step up and we can keep the injuries to a minimum the first two weeks

 Good class hopefully these kids come in ready to work I think we have some crybabies last year  let them go we need the kids that are hard workers and committed to the program like the coaches  and most of the players  The new linebacker coach is a hardnose guy  and will be a great addition I think   My family really enjoys being a part of Val Po and we're looking forward to kicking up the tailgating this season   I will be meeting with the coaches this off-season trying to see if we can open up the parking lot earlier on Saturdays to start cooking out  and get the students out for some free barbecue and maybe BYOB   Before each home game         go Val Po.                                 Hardwork determination makes champions

Got my first look at the team over the Weekend Thought they looked pretty good Practice was well-organized and upbeat Running game Looked good Quarterbacks seem to be competing well number 12 I think he's from Vero Beach didn't play because of a sore elbow but the rest of them I thought did pretty good Receivers seem to be a little inconsistent but that's expected this early on Had some great catches and some drops Defense Was pretty good Had Some missed assignments but I thought the effort was great On both sides of the ball Coaches are definitely moving people around trying to find the right mix it seems But overall I liked what I saw and I'm very excited for the season Western Illinois will be tough But you never know Can't wait to see it and yes I was serious about the plane tickets flying to St. Louis Thursday morning from Florida Then driving to The game hopefully there will be a lot of Val Po Fans there But if you can't make The game it will be on ESPN 3.     Go Valpo. Scrimmage today. Hopefully a lot of people go watch and let us know how thay look. We will be up there next  week to watch scrimmage bringing a ton of enthusiasm and at least one loud and rowdy fan. Just got my plane ticket to W Illinois game. Can't wait you never know we may shock the world. Hard work and Determination guys!  Goooooo Valpo!!!!!!

Any word on the spring football game date

Loved the way the coaches announced the commitments   Outstanding job coaches.  Great class.   And more coming in I'm sure   Very  Exciting !!

Big day for Valpo football And their recruits Hopefully they post a list somewhere of the signees Before April so we can see who's coming in Recruits can definitely commit to a school if their excepted to the school I don't think they have to enroll to commit
