Wow!  Can the AD be far behind after hiring a kid with one year of D2 experience? Understand how far GB has fallen--They lost AT HOME, to #262 in the Sagarin ratings--by 34 points!  GB is ranked 358 of 363.  Wow!  Remember them battling Rowdy and the boys for a title.

I live in the Green Bay area and UWGB gets lots of TV coverage.  Not there right now so haven't seen the reaction. So my only takeaway is that at least the AD saw the mistake early and cut bait rather than let the program continue on in free fall. That's a lot of contract years to eat.

I agree it was a Darner shame. Although you would have to say Linc is at the High Point of his career.

Strange migration for Linc. Was Associate HC at Ball State the previous season. Then goes down (literally and figuratively) to HPU. They're losing a lot of games this season despite playing in a palace of an arena. Check out the HPU BB site and watch the video. The place is luxurious. Combo permanent seating arena, conference center and hotel.

Not to go facilities on this string, but HP has taken multi-use to another level concept-wise when you also have the old standard concerts and arena events and then add in the stuff they have.  Valpo might consider going a little in that direction (probably minus the luxury?).
