Volleyball - 2019 season

With the news about Men's Soccer and Men's Tennis, I want to also thank Coach Carin Avery for her long tenure and sustained success with our volleyball program.  My guess is that she is gone after this season, now that her husband's team doesn't exist anymore.

Let's finish this season out strong, so that we can send her out on a good note!

She's been a really solid coach. If she leaves this program is probably screwed from a competitive standpoint too. Great job Valpo! Great leadership! Congratulations and take a bow!

Also, I am in no way saying that her job doesn't drive the financial/life decisions in their household lol.  I am sure that she has had other opportunities to advance her career, and didn't take them due to family.  Now that her husband will most likely be looking for another job elsewhere, it is probably unlikely that it would be near Valpo, and Carin can get a job with just about any Volleyball program in the country.
