Nursing to Receive $1 Million

According to this morning's news reports, the College of Nursing and Health Professionals will receive $1 million as part of the new $1.7 trillion omnibus budget just passed into law. The intent seems to be to "upgrade its Skills Lab and Simulation Center." I wonder if this could influence any decision about Nursing or Athletics towards funding for facilities improvement.
