How do the following numbers relate to certain Valpo basketball player?

25  and  0
18  and  0
21  and  2
23  and  0
17  and  0

I'll break the suspense.  They relate to the following players in decending order:   Richie, Jay, Matt, Will and Ben.  And they are their season high and low single game production numbers.

We have been giving Kevin and Ryan scoring support via committee.  So far this year this group has produced a total of 11 zeros.  The co-leaders in this category are Ben and Will with four zeros each.

So here is the bigger question:  What's up with this?  How can you go from 17 points to 2 the next game (Jay), or 21 then 2 (Matt), or 23 then 1 (Will) .  We are getting the job done and I think it is great that the defenses can't settle on stopping only three guys.  Still, it makes you go huh??  ???

It could mean that the team is good at distributing the ball to whomever is 'on' that night.  It could be a sign of unselfish basketball.  It does make you go huh?, though.

It was a good sign last night when Bogan made his first shot, and then another later on. I thought the ball movement was outstanding in the second half when they found Kevin and Matt underneath for wide-open looks, and Richie.

But the numbers are baffling. It's like I wrote at the beginning of January. You know what you're going to get (normally) from Ryan and Kevin. I thought at the time Matt Kenney was the wild card, and maybe he is from an athletic standoint. I suppose if either Bogan, Boggs or Harris are hitting from long range, it doesn't matter who is hot as long as Ryan is also having a Ryan-type of a game. Obviously the contribution last night from Richie was huge, particularly in light of Kevin being a little bit off. Of course, 12-22 from 3-point range is going to be tough to beat, but also not realistic most games (particularly on the road).
