Question about season tickets

Mr. Labarbera,

I was wondering why Valpo doesn't offer a discount on season tickets for "new alumni?" In looking around some fellow HL teams' as well as other teams' websites, I've noticed it's a practice that is somewhat common. Is this something Valpo has ever considered, and if you have, what were the reasons for not offering a discount to new alumni?

We have not offered a "new alumni" package in the past.  This past year we did offer a number of "mini packs" in order to make attending more reasonable from a financial and time stand point.  The intent was to make it easier for people to experience Valpo basketball with the hope they would enjoy themselves and return.  The packages were successful and did get new people into the ARC, some of whom have indicated already that they will be coming back more often.
