Here is one site that is discussing some of the recent coaching changes in Men's Div I basketball:

It needs to be updated, with SMU and South Carolina, I believe.  I wonder if Miami will pick up Lickliter?

The article was written on Friday, so while the more debatable blog posting about coaching changes, it does need some updating. SMU and South Carolina did fire their coaches, and haven't heard about others who have been removed or voluntarily left for other openings, but come Final Four weekend, a lot of those jobs will be filled, though not officially announced.

Odd that Christian would go from TCU to Ohio, but maybe he missed the state of Ohio or the MAC.  Also a little odd that Johnson would go from LSU to TCU.

I assume TCU is really ramping up the salary for Johnson to try and compete in a much more difficult conference (Mountain West to Big 12).  Christian was at $600k for TCU, and Johnson was making around $1.2m at LSU.  TCU hasn't been relevant in men's basketball since our Sweet 16 year.  We would have played TCU instead of Florida State if that game went the direction the committee was predicting (TCU as a 5, FSU as a 12)

And Billy Tubbs was the coach, if I'm not mistaken.  Some might have viewed advancement to the Sweet 16 extra sweet if it would have happened at Billy's expense ;)

Larry Brown to SMU?   I hope they get him a strong compliance officer! :o

SMU is trying to get out of the shadow of all the other Texas universities, so they are overpaying their sports coaches.  There is A LOT of money at SMU, so more power to them if it works.  I much prefer my Horned Frogs versus the Ponies
