Bryce really impresses me.  There is much thought and preparation in the things that he does. There is a plan. There is a visible progression.  He appears to anticipate what he needs to do two and three steps ahead -- he's a strategic thinker (but at the same time, come game time, to a guy like me, he's a pretty good tactician as well).  And then he succeeds at what he sets out to do.  No accident that he set up this year's schedule.  No accident that he went after transfers to create depth and competition.  No accident that he has continued to create a basketball family atmosphere at Valpo -- that's how he grew up. No accident that he scheduled two exhibition games, each with different objectives in mind.

Plus he and the camera interact so well.  No other VU coach is as comfortable in front of the camera like Bryce.  He's gonna go places (But No! Not yet! He stays long enough at VU, like the guy at VCU, to build an empire!  He will do that because Valpo will (finally) realize how much that brings to the university and they will pay him accordingly.)
