Longtime VU housekeeper was mother of Wanatah women killed at State Fair

Tammy Van Dam, one of the people who died at the Indiana State Fair during the tragic stage collapse, was the daughter of a longtime housekeeping supervisor at VU named Ollie Belle Pittman. Mrs. Pittman died in 2003 in Alabama, originally was from Wanatah, her funeral was held in Valpo.  She worked in housekeeping until 1993. I remembered that her good friends would sometimes call her O.B. I always thought it was a name from a Starwars character and didn't realize her initials were actually O.B. I'm not sure how many years Mrs. Pittman worked at the university but guessed that some of the alumni would remember her.
