Rex was an assistant at Valpo under Homer during the 03-05 season before taking the head job at Florida Atlantic.

Rex was one of my all-time favorite people to talk basketball. As far as a comment that Rex wasn't or isn't a good guy....in my opinion he is a very good guy.

Rex left VU to be an Assistant at Florida Atlantic, under Matt Doherty. When Doherty left for SMU after 1 season, Walters took over.
