I didn't know Toatley was originally a walk-on!  His last two years were my FR and SO years, and I just figured he was always someone who played a lot (thus a scholarship player).

Maybe Griffyn can do that, or even give Andrew Ferry contributions every few games.

THE STORY OF VALPO
The Crusaders of Valparaiso have turned into a mini-juggernaut in the NCAA Tournament. This year marks their fifth straight appearance. But it didn't look likely early in the year, when they opened the season 2-6. That was when Homer Drew grabbed a walk-on named Dwayne Toatley and made him a starter. Valpo promptly won 12 of its last 13.

Valpo is a year away from doing some exciting things I think.  This year will be a year of coming together and learning each others style of play.  Who knows, maybe they gel quickly and make things happen this year.  I still think Detroit is the team to beat this season, but this group for the next two years has me excited for the winter months!
