I hope we finish the season  strong, but regardless I think the foundation is in place for a highly successful future for Valpo basketball. Next year's recruiting class includes 2 overpowering D-1 major-sized shooting guards and a great floor director PG. just what the doctor ordered to keep defenses honest and avoid the big scoring droughts. The future looks bright.

For all of our sake I hope you are right... I don't think I can take another year of this inconsistency and frustration...

A young team that has not figured out how to stretch out a lead or put a team away early. An older more mature team would have been up double digits at half tonight. The game was lost in the last four minutes of the first half, too many missed opportunities. SIU is well coached, but Valpo has better athletes across the board.  Next year an older Valpo team figures out how to extend and keep leads.
