Wayne Charles never shot anything but a dunk or layup. It seemed like he was 2/2 or 2/3 every game. Anderson gets off a lot more shots, with many of those shots mid-range jumpers.

Anderson's awesome, but he's only shooting in the low 50's.  He must actually take a shot from the field now and then.

If you have watched any Detroit games you saw that Anderson is constantly missing from "beyond the rim."

He's shot a fair number of  threes (25). The problem is he has only made 8.

Matt Kenney apparently became only the second crusader, after Lubos Barton, to cross the 400 rebound/300 assist level.  I'm not sure we're setup to look for other such milestones.

I believe Matt set that mark 3 weeks ago vs UIC. Speaking of Kenney, I think he's 11th now in asts not 10th. I see him listed behind Dr. Cavanaugh 329 to Matt's 319. Rob started the season 9th, but has been passed by Buggs. Thus Cavanaugh 10th now and Kenney 11th. Could Apostle have made an error? It's a rare occurrence if he did.

I posted the full script on the "Senior Night" page... Chef is right... It was a nice number-combination, but he did hit it a few weeks ago.   By the way, if you combine Chef's, Mine and Broekhoff's points and rebounds we are the only group with 1500+ points and 800+ rebounds in VU history.

Good point--I wanted to say "roster" rather than "team" to make clear it didn't matter whether active or not.

As far as whether they were top-20, that would require going back through each year's media guide, and even I don't have that kind of drive.

Besides, as a kid (early 90s) I remember them only listing a top-10 list for many years.  Wonder when they went to 20?

As a side note, check out what Nebraska (sorry to bring them up) does in their media guide for their 1000-point scorers (they have several Regionites in their history) at this link.  http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=205718312.  It's hard to get to, but they have 40 pages of history (161-200)--the 1000 point club is at 171 through 174.

I think we really need to bring out our history more -- we have a great past and these players deserve more than just a line, a date, and a number.
