Through the Feb 5 UIC game, with the starters playing limited minutes, again.  It didn't stop Broekhoff from going 6-9 from behind the arc.  But, it dead mean that KVW didn't take a shot.

Matt Kenney apparently became only the second crusader, after Lubos Barton, to cross the 400 rebound/300 assist level.  I'm not sure we're setup to look for other such milestones.

Part of the statistical reasons that this team is so sweet is its efficiency (at shooting, not ball-handling).

KVW is t-13th in the nation at PPWS (points per weighted shot) with 1.34.  Rowdy t-19th with 1.32.

Additionally, ranks in the top-100 of the country:

Points per game - Defense.   We have given up 61.19 ppg.  That's the best defense since... 1951-52, when we gave up 58.04 ppg.  That was in a year we went 12-12...

We are now 8-5 on the road, guaranteed better than .500 record...'01-02 we ended at 8-5, and '97-98 was last time we won 9 road games.

How in the world does someone shoot 70.4%?  Even KVW is at 63.2%, with the majority being lay-ups lol.

Wayne Charles was Doug Anderson before there was Doug Anderson (maybe literally as well as figuratively! : ).  These were all dunks and putbacks.

The interesting thing to me is the asterisk...he didn't have 75 attempts to qualify, but "retains position when given 75 attempts"...does that mean he actually shot BETTER than 70.4, and like in MLB, you're given 0-for-the at-bats you need to qualify for the title?

That's my understanding.  That's why I want to see his actual stats! 

Anderson's awesome, but he's only shooting in the low 50's.  He must actually take a shot from the field now and then.
