Glad to see Katie get into the VU HOF, as she was an excellent basketball player during my Valpo years, and friendly person.  In regards to Floyd Henderson, wth is the Evansville All-Opponent team?  Were they that good, that they determined who were the best people they played against???

Katie works at the same hospital where the lady who blew up her house worked at, St. Francis South Indy at Emerson Ave and Stop 11. That's way way east of me. Thank God. I believe she is a surgeon's assistant.

I always loved Katie Boone, but I had no idea she was such a saint.  I don't think I could forgive someone who did that to me, let alone work at the same place after that

Just so it's clear. No one at the hospital knew Monsi Shirley had conspired to blow up her house with her boyfriend and his brother until after she had been arrested.

Sorry, should have been more clear. It happened to dawn on me that Katie and a woman named Monsi Shirley worked at the same hospital. I have no evidence that the two have ever talked to each other or knew each other in any way. Ms. Shirley will be on trial for murder in the deaths of her two neighbors. One was a school teacher in Greenwood, IN (I believe Katie Boone went to HS in Greenwood) and the husband was an audio tech. They were both killed in a huge explosion in a neighborhood in south Indy when Ms. Shirley, her boyfriend who lived in the house with her and the boyfriend's brother conspired to blow the house up by leaking gas into the house from the fireplace and setting the microwave to trigger the explosion. The explosion damaged over 50 homes, about 20 will be or have been demolished. Ms. Shirley continued to work at the hospital until the day she was arrested when the IMPD and the FBI had enough evidence against the three. To my knowledge the employees at the hospital knew Ms. Shirley was suspected of being involved but were not sure until the day of her arrest.  Here is an interview Ms. Shirley did with an Indy TV station after the explosion when many people were wondering why her house had exploded but before she was arrested.

Notice there were no real tears in her eyes. It's suspected that she was defrauding the insurance company.
