So now the women have a win against Northwestern, the men against Michigan State and Volleyball over Iowa.  Nice!   :thewave:

The win over Mich St in men's soccer is real big. The Spartans were 2-0-0 going in and they won the Big Ten men's soccer tournament in Dec. 2012 which included National Champion Indiana. I don't know if they lost a lot to graduation but that has to be a huge win.

Great job guys!  Let's climb the Commissioner's Cup standings this year by winning more championships!

I understand that Mich State had a freshman midfielder phenom D Lewis that was Mr Soccer in Michigan and had scored a goal in the 4-0 win over Western Michigan. http://www.msuspartans.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/dewey_lewis_857846.html

He had also started in MSU's 1-0 win over Oregon State.

But I believe now Dewey Lewis has the News that
Valpo Soccer doesn't lose!!!

For sure.  Even the 0-0 draw against them (two years ago? was that the day they handed out the vuvuzelas?) was a quality result.

A great result this weekend!  The 1-1 result at Oakland wasn't so bad, either.  Good to see the team getting a couple of goals on the books.

Interesting that it wasn't Serratore in goal against MSU.

Just anthere win against the Big ten.(Big Who?) ;D

I noticed that after Valpo beat MSU they fell out of this poll after being ranked 24.

I notice that in this poll too, Michigan State was RV in the pre-season, climbed into the top 25 at the beginning of the season, and then fell back out after losing to Valpo.
