I understand. I'm just pointing out the 1 possible scenario (barring upset losses to lower teams) where Valpo could lose to CSU, yet still win the league. So why not root for the team that can keep that scenario in play?

I want CSU to win. I want that last game of the season to be for everything! Young team needs a game like that, win or lose, to be ready for the post season.

Wow! What a game! And great for the Horizon as it showed lots of talent! Wardle wouldn't even look Waters in the eye after the game. Total BS. And Waters! Is he ever happy? I can see it now--in his bedroom--

I am sure Lee called "bank" on that 3-pointer... You need a little luck to win a big game on the road. We will need a few similar things to happen if we are going to win at CSU.

I really didn't want to back CSU but I just couldn't control myself. You know if we were playing CSU next and lost I would have to consider the advantages of shooting for the 4 seed instead of the 2 (extra game for Keith- warm up game for the semi-finals?). Don't know- but that is just another thing that I never liked about the double-bye. At least now the heat is off you guys who were afraid that we might lose out to GB because of a lower RPI that might have been avoidable.

Carrington Love is going to think about that second FT that could have put Green Bay up by 1 with 32 seconds left in regulation for a long long time. No tournament in Green Bay! Do I have that correct?

Yep. Either CSU or Valpo has to end up at least 12-4. If they finish 12-4 they will either lose the head-to-head with CSU or lose the common opponents tiebreaker because of this game (Oakland is neutral in this case).

I still think milwaukee has a shot. I was rooting CSU with that scenario, and the 2 seed consolation prize that HC pointed out, in mind.

That was an interesting thought, but I don't think the team would have ever been without a "for-everything" game (every tourney game has that urgency). To me, a loss by the highest-RPI team in the Horizon is a bad thing, period. I won't get into my at-large fantasies, but I'll say that I wanted the championship game to be between the two teams with the best records and RPIs.

CSU vs. Milwaukee game time has been moved. From the Milwaukee board:

Game time for the Milwaukee men's basketball game versus Cleveland State on Sunday, February 22 has been moved to 2:30 p.m. Central to accommodate television. The Panthers' home finale will be televised live on the American Sports Network, which can be found locally in Milwaukee on WCGV-TV (My 24).

I'm still hoping our last @CSU will get picked up by ESPN2 instead of the U. I love Todd, but it'd be sort of a shame if I was audio-only for the game. Think there's any chance of an upgrade?

But, I'm a family man! Late game, too. Either my wife or I would be stuck at home with the radio. Doesn't seem worth a sitter to watch a game on TV. Maybe if I knew the quality was going to be good: decent view, volume, etc.

I'll probably stick at home. But I'd be willing to pay... At least $10 for an a la carte stream.

Alas, none of the big dogs seems to price TV or streaming content that way.
