Not really Horizon, but doesn't belong on Other Sports but former Nebraska HFBC Bo Pellini is now the HFBC at Youngstown State.  Valpo may see him in future guarantee games.  Good catch for YSU.

NOOOOOOOOOO he was supposed to be at PITT because then

Pelini fired at NU; Riley hired from OSU
Andersen leaves UW, hired at OSU
Chryst leaves Pitt, hired at UW
Pelini goes to Pitt

NOW THE CIRCLE WILL NEVER BE CLOSED

May the circle be UNBROKEN... sorry, the old gospel hymn came to mind with this one.

Doesn't that mean you need a bigger circle.

Eric Wolford was fired at YSU. Maybe Pitt could hire Jerry Schmitt of Duquesne (he is a Pittsburgh native and he wouldn't even have to move) and then Eric Wolford could take over the program at Duquesne and move a short 65 miles to Pittsburgh. That would complete the circle.

Wolford got fired for losing 5 games--Illinois, Western Illinois, Illinois State, Indiana State and North Dakota State. If he would have avoided teams from Illinois and with State in their names he might have kept his job.   ;D
