Even on the transfer market?

Bakari & Middleton were June transfers and Burton was late August. You can find some gems during the summer.

Good point, my take is that traditional high school seniors of worth should mostly be off the market.

So maybe we shift our expectations from 4-year signees for this class to transfer market exclusively.

2018 BioSteel All-Canadian Game From Toronto - April 23rd. Best Canadian HS players regardless of year.

Daniel had 18 points on 7-9 FG and 4 assists. Scored first 5 points of the game and another early 3. BLAZING speed and endless energy. Also, highlights from the slam dunk contest the night before (starts at the 48:55 minute mark), which Daniel won with 1 of the most amazing dunks I have ever seen.

I'm thinking Erik Buggs with a jump shot!

I still think to this day, that if Buggs had a consistent jumper he would have been Big 10 quality PG. He was lightning quick, good hops, solid handles, solid distributor and a great finisher at the rim. Problem was that everyone knew they could cheat on him on defense because his jump shot wasn't good. But that game plan did cost Billy Donovan and Wright State in the Horizon League championship game when he dropped 22 on them. Buggs played out his mind that game

If that is his normal shot then I am sure coaches will be working on that left hand release position.  Never good when the left hand thumb is forward, normal means it is involved somehow in the release.

I thought the coach at Wright St. at that time was Billy Donlan, not Billy Donovan, the former University of Florida head coach.

Would have loved to see this guy get a shot with Valpo Basketball as a walk-on on a academic scholarship. VU is known for giving very generous academic scholarships and this kid sounds deserving with being a valedictorian. I love how the staff has been adding potentially impactful walk-ons like Langston and Helm in recent years. He ended up at Belmont and isn't on the basketball team but it sounds like he could eventually play for the team down the road.

Quote from: covufan on January 09, 2018, 02:28:52 PMThe way I'm figuring it, we will have seven juniors next season - Eveyln, Bradford, Golder, Kiser, Fazekas, Smits and Sorolla - all graduating in 2020.  Foresight will be needed to replace seven scholarships in one year.

Would that be 2020 foresight?
