Nicely done. While I hate to say we won't the Horizon, they're is always that room to lose the one tourney game. With Valpo's schedule, they could get an at large bid and this is like real time RPI!!!

And the Belmont win over Marquette had a little luster removed... Marquette was taken to OT by IUPUI before winning 75-71
But Belmont came out hot in the second half... they're up 44-40 on Arizona State in Tempe.

Baylor - Oregon on Oregon's home floor may be the most painful visual game in the history of college basketball. Owwww!!

Man, we have to play on that court?

The volleyball lines at the ARC were bothering me.

Watching that game was like duck hunting while facing into the full morning sun. The Pac-12 should tell them to either change that floor or suspend their contracted TV revenues!

As for the game Baylor came out of their zone for extended periods to fight their way back into it. Oregon is very good and mixed up 2-3 zone and man but we have a shot to make this a ballgame.  We need great ball movement penetration and enough healthy bodies to play solid stretches of man. Challenges are good.

Finishing up last night:

Arizona State  83 Belmont 74
Oregon 74 Baylor 67

So far this morning.... Tuesday...11/17

East Tennessee State 103  Green Bay 90.... 5am Central time!   GB jumped out 15-4 at the first media break...and then fell back into their undisciplined offense and Bartow's team ran away...  Nice Crowd in Johnson City for 6am eastern time...

Oregon State beat Iona by 20, although Iona seemed to have a late charge. Noticed the Beavers have two famous kids -- Gary ("Mitten") Payton II and Stephen Thompson, Jr. The latter's Dad is an assistant coach at Oregon State. Sr. played at Syracuse in the late 80s (frosh on the 1987 team). He was a pretty good player as I recall on some very good Cuse teams in that era (back when college hoops was college hoops).  :P    So, some fun story lines. What's TV ("video links" for the Millennials) looking like for that game?

Assuming Valpo can squeak past these next two games, it's looking like the UofO and OSU series could end up being important in The Crusader's case for an at-large bid should anything go wrong in the conference tournament.  I'm generally more optimistic but I have a really good feeling about Sunday and Tuesday--look forward to seeing them play live!

I would expect the games to be on the PAC-12 networks (375-391 Time Warner, here in Dallas),  I was watching the Iona-OSU game yesterday.

UWM could not have possibly shot the ball any better than they did against ND last night.  Yet, they still lost by 8 points.  To shoot that well from the floor, especially from 3 point land, and still lose could be seen as a positive or a negative.  So, a bit of a confusing result that still leaves me questioning just how good they will be this year.

On the one hand they played a really good team close.  On the other hand they might only shoot the ball like that once every 10 games, if that.

BTW, that's Trinity International from up in north suburban Deerfield and not Trinity Christian from south suburban Palos Heights, who Valpo just handily beat, that the Panthers are playing.
