Friday 1/22 - and Valpo's RPI is back to 26... RPI is a mathematical .6146 which is a deadheat with Utah...THEN GW completes their comback, and Valpo's RPI is back to #27, .6137... which is still ahead of Purdue at .6106.. and after the WSU final, Valpo RPI drops to 33.

Northern Kentucky (7-11) 82 UIC (2-16) 69 OVERTIME  ...tied at 65 with 12 seconds to play... Offensive foul on a drive to the basket for UIC, desperation heave off... going to OT. Torres, Whitaker and Odiase foul out in the OT period.... the Norse on a 2-game winning streak.

Iona (9-8) 64 St Peters 58...Gaels cover the spread and take over the MAAC
George Washington 62 Rhode Island (11-8) 58... after URI jumped out 30-14... and went steadily down hill from there.

We need to be careful, it could happen to us.

This was a very prophetic response. Although we still haven't lost at home this season as OU has done 3 times already in conference.

They lost at home to YSU and Northern Kentucky.

Valpo lost on the road to the team currently tied for first in conference.

Little different, but there was much freakout.

Wow!  Talk about swallowing their whistles.  Do any of those referees work Horizon League games?

HC

Pretty sure I saw something where those refs got suspended, not sure it was a real story or an onion type story. That was such a bizarre ending.

Monday 1/25
Detroit @ Green Bay... Titans, losers of 4 straight, 3-4 in conference.  Phoenix favored by 3.5-Nolan with a 60% chance of winning; Vegas line has GB favored by 5.5 with an OU at 183.

Oakland @ Milwaukee.   Grizz, tied with GB at 4-3 in conference, coming off that offensive display against GB on Saturday are not favored.  Panthers (5-2) favored by 2.5 with a 58% chance of winning.  Vegas Line as Panthers favored by 3.5; with the OU at 163.

Todd Williams, John Gaston and Robert Kruger

I wonder if someone could track if these guys work Horizon games?

In those uniforms Detroit's Jenkins looks like one of those blush brushes that women use on their cheeks.

At first GB got out to a 12 point lead but Detroit has whittled it down to a 6 point lead.

Detroit blocked 2 shots but the shot clock operator reset the shot clock and then GB drilled a three that shouldn't have counted but nobody on the Detroit bench even asked the ref why the shot clock was reset. Sheesh!

I fully expect Detroit to foul GB in the last 6 seconds.

EDIT: Okay, I was wrong. It goes to OT. 95-95.

Detroit and GB are both trying to blow this game.  GB up by 4. But Bass has fouled out. French Fish must go home.

Paris Bass is the least clutch player. Fouls out after another brutal late turnover.

Woof horrible OT play by Detroit.

Now onto Oakland UWM. Thankfully without the horrendous UWM announcers.

Switching over to the other game (ASN / Comcast Plus Channel 201 in Valpo Comcast)

Felder... 17 points, 11 assists... and FOUR fouls with 4:26 to go...which is the "Under 4" media time out since King called a TO within 30 seconds of the 4:00 minute mark...

The on-line stats from OU are about 40 seconds ahead of the ESPN3 cast...

and "K" fouls out on a 3-point attempt by UWM's Lyle... first time all year Felder has not scored 20.

Hooper hits his 7th ( of 10 shots) 3 of the game... still has not taken a 2 point shot all year!
