This is an interesting comparison so I took it a bit further.

It appeared that Green Bay left some openings in their 13-14 schedule to help produce an at-large consideration record. We should note that #3 Wisconsin and #10 Virginia both played at Green Bay that season.. So for comparison sake lets imagine that 15-16 Coaches poll #3 Michigan St and #10 Oregon had both come to the ARC.

If we imagine a finals loss to Oakland I think we rank slightly better than they did that year. Not sure if the 13-14 season had any Louisville and SMU type situations. This is a reasonably close call so decide for yourselves.
