You're wondering how a shooting guard that got drafted in the first round seemed to get more open looks than our current power forward?

How do forwards like Doug McDermott seem to pull off getting open looks and knocking them down, some with the help from set plays to get him open but Peters can't seem to do? Peters is likely to break nearly of all of Bryce's records.

So instead of Bryce, you use a Naismith College Player of the Year / NBA lottery pick... Some standard.

Also, Peters made more 3s this year than McDermott did his junior year.

Reality check - Peters is great but he is not NBA potential great.

Why do you think he is not NBA potential?

Do you understand how great you have to be to make the NBA?
It has nothing to do with the NIT final - but he is likely a step slow to make the NBA.

McDermott found a way to get it done in big games while facing very good defenses and getting double and triple-teamed.

Had to register to say that we held McDermott to seven points (lowest total of last couple of years) when we played him.  When players play Lonergran defenses hard, we've shut down some spectacular players (we didn't all the time, hence NIT).
