Does anyone else have a difficult time listening to Todd Ickows partner (David Huseman)? I'd almost rather Todd have the solo call at times.

Yes, yes, I realize some of them were contested and a couple of Smits' little shots in the paint fall under this, but the official scorer has Valpo down for seven (7!) missed layups in the first half. Yikes. Go to the damn rim already.

Thoughts at the half:
1. Intensity looks good. Keep it up in the second half.
2. Bad breaks, including the ball out of bounds off Pippen that went to SIU.
3. Good ball movement.
4. Didn't we get Pippen in foul trouble last time?
5. Smits looked great on that reverse layup. Too bad it didn't go in.
6. No play out of the last timeout. Was the plan really to go to Bakari for a 3?

Coach had a good play out of time out (although I don't agree with the shooter) but at least it was a play that orchestrated an open look.

Peters and Rowdy were good 3 point shooters. But a lot of those shots were wide open. We should try that with Fazekas
