When you lose 7 of your last 8 including 4 straight at home most folks get smart enough to stay home. Not me.  ;)

You want a whole new team then? That will take more than one Christmas.

VUGrad1314

An above .500 finish in MVC play (or at least .500)

And another solid tournament run by the MVC representative.

For next season let's stay together as a team and a fanbase and  compete for a title. Go Valpo!

V-Rex to retire. Very embarrassing look on TV. Looks like a high school mascot.

At leastV-Rex  was THERE unlike so many in the Valpo student body.

I appreciated VRex being there always standing, entertaining, even taking pictures with kids.  The dressing up stuff is fun.

Last night was V-Rex's last night.  She held a sign saying that it was her last game.

Incidentally, relative to the rest of the crowd, the student section held its own -- significantly better than some of the games earlier in the season.

V-rex is literally just a student who loves Valpo basketball and comes to the games religiously. It's not like it's a condoned mascot or a vu athletics thing. If we want there to be excitement in the student section maybe we should support the students who try?

What I want:
a team that has mental grit as well as physically grit and maybe a less lackadaisical assumption early in the season that because they are practicing well things are gonna be great. This is purely speculation but it seems like this is the second season of early hype and lack of ability to hold up under pressure which makes me think they need more pressure and other such things to help them mentally prepare than they are getting.

I think the raw talent is there but they need to be more poised.

I would like a new sound system for the ARC for Christmas, and I know where we can get a good deal. Loyola installed a new sound system   for the Gentile Center in 2014, as part of their renovation project. Since that time they have been trying to sell their old system on Craig's List - "Gently used basketball venue sound system. 1990's technology. Voice quality better than a McDonalds drive-thru. Slight humming sound on rare occasions. $100 OBO (cash only). Free delivery within a 100 mile radius."

How can we go wrong?

One of those battery operated toy cars that you can ride around in

An iPhone that transports persons up to 5 miles away like the Enterprise transporter. Beam me up, Scotty!

You didn't say it had to be about VUMBB.

A donor that pays for renovations to the ARC.

Since we're on the VUBB Forum, I took it for granted - my bad.
