Rowdy just can't catch a break.  Here's hoping that he gets picked up by a team that actually plays him.

Good luck to him. Enjoyed watching him play in what few minutes they gave him. Hope to see him play for Australia in the next olympics.

Now I go back to no reason to watch nba games.

I would be interested to know what happened with AEK Athens, as it no longer shows up on his profile, and there were recent articles about him moving to CSKA Moscow, before that ended:

Darn Peters and Broekhoff as teammates would have been every Valpo fan's dream... I would have definitely had to figure out how to watch CSKA games if that had happened. I wonder if maybe he got or is pursuing an NBA contract. Maybe he's in talks with an unknown team at this time.

Would love a Broekhoff return to Dallas and a trade for a third star would be awesome. It might help give Rowdy a chance to contend for championships!

Problem long term there is how long Brett Brown remains as the Sixers coach.

Picked this up from the Sixers website:

Ryan Broekhoff's wife has an auto-immune disease and the couple has a one-year-old son, but the veteran sharpshooter ultimately decided to join the Sixers for the NBA's restart, writes Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

"We spoke to Elton (Brand, Sixers GM) and Brown (Sixers head coach) and just wanted to get some more information of how the bubble would be down in Orlando, and if anything happens at home, what are my options to get back and take care of my family," Broekhoff said. ".....I think the opportunity in the end was too hard to pass up."

I'm sorry to hear that and wish him his wife and his family the best at this time but I am totally not surprised that he chose to do this. This is exactly the kind of man he is and I salute him. Family first. Team first. Everything before self. That's Rowdy to a T.
