It just doesn't flow, they don't know their stuff, and they certainly are not basketball experts to speak to it.

I'm being harsh but even my kids said who are these guys and turn it off.

I'm being harsh but even my kids said who are these guys and turn it off. 

IMO the podcasters are missing the boat in their dismissive attitude toward our new transfer-in players. They're thinking "same old same old," meaning another year of revolving door player instability. You can't build a program that way, blah, blah, blah. What is different this year is that the bloated transfer portal was full of talented players looking for a new home. Valpo took full advantage of that to dramatically improve its overall player profile. Players from the past like Mileek McMillan, for example, wouldn't even make this roster. Other teams like Drake and Missouri State, for instance, are loaded because of this 5th year eligilibility anomoly, but they have some major shoring up to do when this year is over. We should be strong this year, but stronger yet next season. Oh, and don't forget, we have this year's strongest freshman recrutiing class, hands down. The other thing these guys seem to be conveniently forgetting is even with players like Mileek and all the revolving door issues we're had, we still finished higher than their alma maters - Illinois State and Southeren Illinois. So, as dysfunctional as they make us out to be, they had better hope we never get it figured out, or we're going to really leave them in the dust. How embarrassing would it be to the league's old guard programs to have the 2 newest kids on the block take residence at the top of the league, like the 2 programs they replaced. Who knows if that will will ever happen, but IMO the odds are better than the odds of ILSU and SIU passing Valpo any time soon.
