Which side of the ball Fairbank ends up playing is probably up in the air as he was at least as good a DB as WR. Fast and very willing tackler.

I can't figure this one out. His has good size, is fast and ran for 800 yards, 9 TD's averaged almost 8 yards a carry and his only other offer was Arkansas Tech

For a 5A school in DFW (Frisco), no less. He was probably a second or third option for the school, and flew under the radar.

He was their regular back so he wasn't a guy running up yardage vs. the 2nd string in blowouts as sometimes we see. Is the other offer Arkansas State or Arkansas Tech? Major difference.

The way Fox put it is they have four recruiting interns that their 9-5 is finding talent that slipped through the cracks.

As you can imagine the talent pool is a lot deeper now.

Valpo's draw is truly amazing. Many of these kids are really smart as well. We now have commitments from kids coming from 15 different states and not one yet from Indiana! Maine, Washington, Oregon, Utah? Really coast to coast!

Unfortunately Valpo has a tough time competing with Marian, Saint Francis, and Butler in Indiana to get kids good enough to compete in the PFL

Wasn't the case until the Carlson years, hopefully we see a flip the other way!
