Congrats to Valpo's Soccer team for winning Valpo's first conference title!  A great 4-1 win today while Missouri State  is losing 4-2

This is big news for the Valpo community as well as Valpo will now host the conference tourney which means lots of hotel rooms booked and lots of meals eaten!  Wonderful news all around!

sounds like Missouri State laid an absolute egg to lose the title.

Illinois State was really bad this year but they beat Missouri State (thanks) and tied us.

Yes, I had thought that Illinois State would only be the spoiler for Valpo this season, but they caused a major upset against Missouri State, to give us the title!  After a non-conference slate that had our pre-season conference ranking in major question, we seem to have peaked at the right time.  Let's get our first MVC tournament title and NCAA bid next!

A pep rally was had this morning on campus and the action continues tomorrow. Very nice reward to potentially host the championship match on Sunday.
