Fuquan Edwin hit a number of big shots as the game hit the final minutes. With just under five minutes to go, Edwin had compiled 14 points and continued to keep Seton Hall afloat. Senior forward Herb Pope led the Pirates with 16 points.

A 7-0 run with 3:45 left to play in game, helped give the Pirates breathing room — and kept the pressure on Saint Peter's to keep pace.

Still, Seton Hall wasn't out of the woods after that. A pair of quick scores by Saint Peter's kept the margin within striking distance. But ultimately the Edwin shots made the difference in the game.
