I was wondering the same thing. I definitely think he had the ability to go pro in Europe while he was at VU. Is it a health issue? I really think taking away his 4th year hurt him more then most people thought because that would have been a great showcase year. Hopefully he's doing well.

Nevada's budget has to be huge for a mid-major. They've been making new hires left and right this offseason. They just hired former Valpo assistant Rex Walters. He was last working in the NBA.

Neither. It was a joke  born out of the faint connection between the two programs. I doubt it will actually happen but it at least gives us a theoretical shot. Doesn't hurt to ask. Given the struggle to get games at our level and our recent performance there's at least a semi-decent chance they would say yes. It'd be a great series that benefits both programs I think.

Definitely helps to have FBS money, but their administration really doubled down on the MBB program the last few years and have it a University priority. They are getting a push from the top.

Being on Nevada's (or Xavier's) recruiting list is about as exclusive as being in a "Who's Who Among..." Book.
