Ryan wins StatSheet Horizon League Player of the Week

Ryan Broekhoff has been selected as the StatSheet Horizon Player of the Week for the week ending February 13th. StatSheet's Horizon Freshman of the Week is Roosevelt Jones from Butler.  Broekhoff led the entire Horizon in three pointers (3.5 per game). He also put up 18 points per game and 10.5 rebounds per game. The Valparaiso junior put these numbers up in a win versus Cleveland State and a loss to Youngstown State.

Broekhoff led all scoring and rebounding for the Crusaders with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 59-41 win against Cleveland State. He followed that up with 12 points and 11 rebounds in a 71-53 loss to Youngstown State.

This is the second time this season that Ryan Broekhoff has been selected StatSheet Horizon Player of the Week. He has also finished second more than once and received multiple honorable mentions. The runner-up this week is sophomore Kendrick Perry from Youngstown State. Honorable mention goes to our own Richie Edwards.
