My smart phone hates them.    You have put so many up on some threads that it takes much longer to load.  I can understand adding one occasionally when you want to really highlight a post but when you add them to almost every post that you do they lose their impact.

It is not a terribly big deal if he does it every so often.  It only gets bad when he has a lot of them in one thread, which has been the case in some threads.  I don't want to stop people from adding pertinent content to a thread.

As I stated before, I would have no problem with a well placed occasional .gif that adds to the moment.
