After pounding UIC 14-2 today, our Crusaders have now won 20 of the last 23 and are 12-1 in the last 13 Horizon league games! Awesome! Keep it rolling!!

We have some amazing momentum right now. Our pitching is owning everyone, and our hitters are firing on all cylinders. I very much look forward to this finish. If we sweep UIC and then YSU, which is very possible, I see us getting the 1 seed and another championship! We are peaking at the right time heading into the tourney, so hopefully before all is said and done in a week or two, we will end up with 6 championships this year!

Sure it wouldn't be four or are you counting tourney titles as well as regular season?

It's been a great year for sports at Valpo. Hope the girls can go get the job done today on the softball diamond. No way the baseball team loses today with Wild on the hill. Let's go YSU!!!

Yes, I was counting the tournament championships as well, since they count towards commissioner cup. Good win by the ladies today, need one more and they go to the NCAA!

On the other side, looks like Wild had some trouble with UIC. Hopefully we come back in that one as well.

When I saw the comment right before the game, I thought the exact same thing lol. It's so hard as a baseball player not to believe in the jinx, as stupid as it is

Yep--I even thought it as I was typing. I NEVER mess with a hot streak by saying things like that, but after having watched our finest three or four innings of baseball in the prior game's dousing of the Flames, I couldn't stop myself. I have re-learned the lesson. Never again!
