Gary Regional winner, Kent State, loses twice @ CWS

After winning the Gary Regional at the US Steel Yard, including a 21 inning win over Kentucky, the Golden Flashes lost a 4-1 decision to South Carolina, last year's CWS champion, to knock them out of the 8 team CWS in Omaha. Kent State did upset Florida 5-4 for their only win at Omaha. One of their players lost his mother during the championship round and it turned into a somber win over Florida for the Golden Flashes. Kent State gave up their only home run of the tournament to South Carolina but the 3 run homer did the damage that knocked KSU out of the tournament.

I see that Arkansas, a team that VU played pretty competitively against earlier this year, is still in it.

Arkansas will hopefully beat down South Carolina.  I am rooting for an Arizona/Arkansas final.  No more gamecocks...

If either Arkansas or South Carolina win the CWS,it will be a triple crown (football,basketball,baseball)for the SEC. Has any other conference ever pulled off this feat? SEC! SEC! SEC!
