Tyler Deetjen has signed with the Gary Railcats.  Congrats to Tyler on pro contract!  The story is on the Valpo baseball website.

Good for him, and glad that our players are getting more chances to play as they graduate.  We had several people go on to independent baseball and do well for a few years, but nothing came out of it.  Hopefully it will be different for Tyler!

Congrats to Tyler.  The fact that VU has had a few players in the last three years either get drafted or sign pro contracts is a statement of the quality of the individuals playing for VU, and the upward quality of the VU Baseball program.  Congrats to all involved!
