Scouting Report: Solanke came to Marquette Catholic via Abeokuta, Nigeria. The 6’8″ forward is super-athletic and can jump out of the gym. While he continues to work on his mid-range game and ability to put the ball on the floor, he is already a load to handle in the paint. A great shot-blocker and above-average rebounder, Solanke is the kind of athlete in the front court that Valpo typically lacks. He may be a prep school candidate, although he does currently hold offers from Loyola Chicago, St. Bonaventure, Tennessee-Chattanooga and Georgia State. Solanke is receiving mid-major interest but has high-major athleticism and potential.
