Awesome to see a win and a sweep over ISUr!
@historyman No Edwards or Ajiboye and Darius was limited to playing 20 minutes. What is the story on them?
Apparently Edwards was being disciplined for some kind of action. Ajiboye, I have no idea why he didn't get to play.
Darius hit the floor hard in the first half and he was subbed out for much of the first half. Coach Powell seemed to take it cautiously with Darius in the 2nd half.
Good win! Saw parts of the game. Besides strong games from Cooper and Stafford, Valpo did a very good job of shutting down Kinziger - who will be one heck of a player in the MVC in the coming years.
I believe a win in the conference tournament is possible - and would be a good step forward going into next year.
Kripes, with more muscle and experience, think about the next three years 🧐
The concern here is for what program?
We'll know in a month or so what direction Valpo's program really is moving. If they can manage to keep the nucleus it'll be a very positive sign. If not, particularly with one player, not so sure.
@usc4valpo Going back, we kinda own ISUr
Going way further back, we also owned MSU.

Gotta reluctantly agree over the long term. But I don’t see Cooper bailing in 24-25. Maybe as a senior with NIL $$$ swaying him like Ben. But not for two years, and in those two years Valpo will not be the Valpo we saw this year.

Coop and Powell gave the impression in the post game interview that Coop is not currently thinking of transferring.
We own the Redbirds! Nice to see them close a game. Cooper STUD. Would he be riding the pines on every other MVC team? The real season starts right after we bow out of the tourney. Very slim chance of winning a game. Basically the first three days after they tourney title match… who’s leaving? Then….who do we bring in the month of April/early May. Look for atleast one roster surprise, otherwise, looks like the locker room is in a good place.
I am really happy for these guys with this win, they are busting tail and have improved despite the record
We own the birds. Too bad we don't face the in the tournament.

Lets hope not.
