The basketball website now has the new guys together with measurements.  Clearly, we will be bigger and stronger than last year.  Guys like Witherspoon (6'2" 180#) Williamson (6'1" 165#) and Ola (6'7" 200#) are being replaced by guys like McNair (6;3" 195#) Schmidt (6'4" 200#) and Shaw (6'8" 205#)

Heck Cooper and has brother are both listed at 225# which is 15# up from last year.  Sure we lost a soft Palm and Barrett but the addition of Scroggins and Louth should more than make up for that.

Here’s hoping that the added size translates into added toughness and greater confidence across the roster.

But this is season two of “more questions than answers” — so far, at least.

My expectations are modest so many on this roster could far exceed them. No idea yet how or if they will fit into any offensive or defensive schemes. Meanwhile. Do we have any scheduling rumors? Almost mid July and I haven't heard a peep.

Well, seeing that we were out rebounded by a little over 6 per game in conference play, my expectation is we at a minimum close that gap somewhat.

I do not know why there has been silence about the non-conference schedule. Other Valley schools are announcing both their tournament invitations and their non-conference schedule. I assume with the new rules regarding buy games there is some red tape that needs to be cleared first?

@justducky I think there should be a home game against Central Michigan, I believe that last year started a home-and-home series and Bart Torvik's website seems to confirm that. But yes, really no news overall, still waiting on MTE confirmation and dates, which leaves an additional ~7 games to be sorted out.
