Evansville just won the Regional and is moving on the the Super Regional (final 16) to face #1 Tennessee.  Evansville was in the pits 6 years ago, finishing last, right below us, and now is only Valley team still playing!

It can be done folks. We need a change.

@usc4valpo Little correction, I misread the interview. They want someone named by October, with victory village being fully announced by mid spring.

Yes, very impressive to see Evansville go 3-1 as the 4 seed in their regional, and come away with the one run win against East Carolina to advance to play in a Super Regional.  For folks that paid attention to our last NCAA trip (2013), we did lead the #1 seed in our regional by 3 (Indiana, who had Kyle Schwarber on the team), before blowing that 4-1 lead in the 9th.  I was actually at my wedding rehearsal dinner paying attention to both my soon-to-be-wife and the game Smile   (she was aware of the importance).  We eventually beat Florida in that regional to stave off elimination for one game, losing to Austin Peay by 1.  Anything can happen if you have a quality mid-major program in Baseball.

Indiana State also made it to the final 2 of their regional before succumbing to Kentucky.  They went 2-2.  A very solid showing by a top 10 league!

Hopefully we can somehow lure Dallas Baptist back, as they are an annual participant in the NCAAs, and they really don't belong in CUSA.

I read on Twitter that we are one of only 8 programs that had no one transfer. We graduated 15 of 36 and weren't very good but still in this day and age that is amazing. One program had 25.

We added a new assistant from Creighton that seems like a good hire, perhaps a future head coach.  We have also signed over 10 guys in the past few weeks. Hopefully we announce them soon.

I can't speak for the data that you saw, but I have to imagine that baseball transfer % is a lot lower than football and basketball.  During my time playing, we only had a few transfers in/out each year, but that was 20 years ago.
