For those of you who haven't been in the museum, I came across a video I posted on Facebook which just popped up as a memory from five years ago today!  Enjoy!

Yes, Gregg was a Valparaiso University treasure who dedicated his life to the museum and the school. He is an amazing individual, and the administration treated him terribly. For those who might not have caught the examples shown in just this one corner of the museum, the artists displayed in the small sampling are O'Keeffe, Hassam, Dudley, Church, Durand, Kensett, White, Burchfield, de Kooning, Bohary, Gilliam, Frankenthaler, Warhol, Albers, Katz, Walker, Stella, Rauschenberg, Sloan, Rickey, and a few I missed. That is a first class and world renowned group of works now sitting in a closed facility. So sad.

@vuindiana Gregg lives in LaPorte and can sometimes be found selling curiosity odds and ends at a booth in the antique mall there.

I drove through LaPorte one Saturday morning this past summer and their outdoor morning market in the downtown area was surprisingly active.
