With Powell preaching about wanting to get the ARC back to the way it was in the early 2010s when he was still and assistant. I think it is good to look over attendance numbers throughout the season. While the attendance numbers haven't been released, from a purely visual standpoint, the attendance has been gradually improving over the course of the season. At the start they were barely filling the lower deck. Now the Mezzanine is becoming more populated. The major department suffering is student attendance which is understandable.

So here is the questions.

Will the attendance improve when the team improves?

What are your ideas as to how attendance can be made to improve?

The average attendance for all home games was 1478. For conference home games the average was slightly higher at 1553, thanks to the many visitors among the 2428 who attended the Indiana State game. For the rest of the home conference games, the attendance average was 1456, actually lower than the overall number. There is no real pattern of increase throughout the season. All this happened despite the best weather conditions I can ever remember for a basketball season.

@valpopal Main issue I see is that ESPN+ exists. Also a reason why attendance has been down across the country. It used to be the only way to view mid major teams on TV was if they were good. Now you can watch any team across the country on your couch.

EDIT: It also comes down to if the team is good or not I supposed. Just look at the Sycamores attendance before this year. They were averaging just below 4k fans last year, now Hulman is seeing near sell out crowds just because the team is performing well.
